We think the church needs disciple-makers, not just members.
There's a quiet gap in a lot of Christian lives - the gap between belonging to a church and actually following Jesus on purpose. Catalyst was built to close it.
The aim is simple and a little bold: take twelve weeks, go deep with Jesus, get honest about who you are, and come out equipped to help other people find Him too. That's the whole point. Everything else - the wilderness, the campus, the field placement - serves that one aim.

Strip away the language and Catalyst is simple: become someone who follows Jesus closely, and helps others do the same.
Know. Grow. Go.
Know Jesus personally, grow into who He made you to be, and go and help someone else find the same. That's the whole arc - nothing fancier, nothing less.

We learn discipleship the way Jesus modelled it - walking it before teaching it. You don't just hear about following Jesus; you practise it, in the wild and in the street.
Made to be sent
"As the Father sent me, so I send you." You're not here to collect information. You're being shaped and sent - so that other people meet Jesus through you.

Catalyst is an initiative of the Institute 4 Discipleship - part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church's South Pacific Division - run in partnership with Avondale University on its campus.
